Bare rooted
We love it! Bare rooted, that is, rhizomes Bare rooted means the roots - the roots - of plants. They are taken out from the soil when the plants are one year old. The plants have already flowered once. This way we know for sure that the plant is in good condition. Having bloomed, the roots are also extra strong. Our bare roots are hardy, perennial plants. That means we can always count on them. A great advantage of bare rooted plants is that they are cheaper than plants in a grower's pot. We like that. We also deliver the roots in bio-based bags. This is better for the environment than plastic growers' pots. Do you want to know how to plant bare rooted? Read about it in: Bare rooted: What is it and how do we plant it?
