Perfect as a snack! The cucumber 'Iznik' (Cucumis sativus) has fruit with smooth, thin skin. They grow up to 12–14 cm. The 'Iznik' does not need pollination. Plant the vegetable seeds in March to June under glass or in a heated container. Cucumbers like to be warm. After four to five weeks, plant them in the open ground in the garden. You can harvest from July to September.
Space the cucumber seeds 140 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 50 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Plant the vegetable seeds in a nice spot in partial shade or full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The vegetable seeds come in a bag containing approximately 8 vegetable seeds. This is enough to sow 3 square metres.
