Light green, low-growing plant
Nice and easy! This is what characterizes the juniper 'Pfitzer. 'Compacta' (Juniperus pfitzeriana). This low-growing plant hardly needs care. The light green pine needles remain green all year round. So, with little effort, we can enjoy it for a long time! The winter-hardy plant blooms all year. You can plant the Juniperus all year round, provided temperatures have not dipped below freezing.
Prune the juniper once, just before the summer. Then cut any shoots that stick out. You can also remove shoots if the foliage becomes too compact. Place the plant in full sun. Water the plant sparingly. Water it more during dry periods.
