Sweet carrot from your own garden
A beautifully sweet winter! The winter carrot 'Berlikumer 2' (Daucus carota) is a sweet carrot. You can also freeze it. A great organic carrot from your own vegetable garden. This variety is productive and can be kept indoors during winter. Sow the seeds in the open ground from about mid March to July. You can harvest the carrots from October through November.
Space the seeds 4 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 35 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Carrots like full or partial shade. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The seeds come in a bag containing approximately 1.5 grams. This is enough to sow 12 square metres.
