Pink pond
Look at the colour! The bright red water-lily 'Attraction' (Nymphaea) adds drama to our pond. We also enjoy the lovely scent of 'Attraction' in the summer. The large leaves of the water lily provide a lot of shade for the fish in the water. That keeps algae at bay! Plant the water-lily in the spring. The flower blossoms in the summer.
We maintain a planting depth of 120 cm. We prune the plants slightly to shape them with a pruning shear. We remove old leaves and dirt. To encourage good growth, we add minerals to the pond water and ensure that the water's hardness level (pH value and calcium to magnesium ratio) is maintained. Put the lily in a sunny spot.
For a colourful, algae-free pond!
