Zen succulent

The echeveria agavoides is perfectly balanced! The leaves are evenly arranged around the centre of the plant. The light green colour with red edges bring you lots of joy. The succulent needs very little care. Water the Echeveria every two weeks in the summer and once a month in the winter. Let the soil dry out completely before you water again. The plant likes light, but not the blazing midday sun.

Planting

Echeveria pulidonis enjoys a warm, sunny spot.

This is a nice houseplant, ideal for those difficult positions like the window-sill above a radiator. Echeveria pulidonis will thrive on your patio or decking over summer too. This plant loves the sun!

The more light it gets, the more leaves will develop!

Care

What do I need?
  • Watering can
  • Plant food

Water the Echeveria (and not the plant itself) if the potting soil feels dry. Add a little plant food to the irrigation water in spring and in summer every now and then to give the plant some extra strength. The Echeveria loves being outside in the summer. Do put the plant inside before frost sets in as it isn't winter hardy. This plant loves warmth and sunshine. On the window sill or above the radiator will do just fine.

Extra

Echeveria originated in the warm, dry regions of Central and South America. It was named after Mexican botanist Atanasio Echeverria y Godoy.

Echeveria pulidonis is a classified as a succulent (Crassulaceae).
