Sweet and tasty flesh
An ornamental vegetable for your vegetable garden. The orangey red squash 'Uchiki Kuri' (Cucumis maxima) is sweet in flavour with delicious, dark yellow flesh. It contains a wealth of vitamins and minerals. After harvesting, the 'Uchiki Kuri' squash can be stored for several months. The vegetable seeds are organically certified. Plant the vegetable plants from early May to mid-June in a seedbed on open ground. Then move them outdoors to fertile soil later. You can harvest in September.
Space the squash seeds 100 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 100 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Plant the vegetable seeds in a nice spot in partial shade or full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The vegetable seeds come in a bag containing approximately 1.75 grams. This is enough to sow 6 square metres.
