Large plumes

A playful effect. The beautiful cane 'Yakushima Dwarf' (Miscanthus sinensis) looks great in your garden. The relatively low Miscanthus has grey-green leaves with a white midrib. And turn yellow in autumn. The large cream-white plumes later turn light brown. The flower plumes bloom from late summer to autumn. You can plant the silvergrass all year round. Except in frost.
After the frost period, cut off faded flower plumes and discoloured leaves. Plant the plant in a nice spot in partial shade or full sun. Water it more during dry periods.
