A plant that has a lot to offer! The Photinia 'Red Robin' (Photina) is a very popular evergreen ornamental shrub. In the spring and autumn, the brilliant photinia displays beautifully bright red leaves. The more you prune, the redder the colour becomes! Its tolerance of pruning has also made the 'Red Robin' a popular hedge plant. Very white flowers will appear from May to July, if you don’t prune. The Photinia grows to roughly two metres tall. With regular pruning, the plant grows about 20 cm higher. The best position for this asset is in the sun or in the half shadow. Give the Photinia a bit of water each week. When the bush is producing shoots, water it a bit more often. It will have you looking forward to every new season!
