Wonderfully fragrant with an abundance of flowers!
The organic plant is a favourite with bees and butterflies. The Lesser Calamint 'Marvelette Blue' (Calamintha) is a wonderfully fragrant plant that flowers profusely. The hardy Calamintha has blue-purple flowers that attract bees and butterflies, creating an especially vibrant atmosphere in the garden. The Lesser Calamint does well in a pot on the patio or balcony but can also be planted in the garden. Plant the Calamintha between March and November. The plant blooms from June to September.
You can place the Calamintha in the sun, partial shade or full shade. Water the plant once a month.
Tip: To help the plant grow strong, cut it back once it has flowered.
