Decorative herb
It is a gorgeous bloomer and wonderfully fragrant. The lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is a true asset for your flower and herb garden. They can be used dried in a sachet in the linen cupboard. The fresh leaf is delicious in (fish) dishes. The herb seeds are also organically certified. Sow the herb seeds indoors from April to June. Wait a minimum of four to five weeks for the plants to sufficiently germinate. Cover them with plastic and place the tray in a warm, light spot. After eight weeks plant them outdoors in a sunny spot.
Space the lavender seeds 25 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 25 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Plant the herb seeds in a sunny spot. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The herb seeds come in a bag containing approximately 0.1 grams. This is enough to sow 4 square metres.
