The snacking cucumber is approximately 8–10 cm in size. A slim cucumber with sweet and crunchy flesh and thin, glossy skin. The 'Picolino' is resistant to fruit and leaf blight, powdery mildew and cucumber green mottle mosaic. The vegetable seeds are organically certified. Plant the vegetable seeds in March to June under glass or in a heated container. Cucumbers like to be warm. Plant them outdoors after four or five weeks. You can harvest from July to September.
Space the cucumber seeds 70 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 70 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Plant the vegetable seeds in a sunny spot. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The vegetable seeds come in a bag containing approximately 6 seeds. This is enough to sow 2 square metres.
