Attractive tufts
Remarkably long, cottony tufts. That's what gives common cottongrass (Eriophorum angustifolium) its name. The white tufts strike a beautiful contrast against the green, grass-like blades. We can plant the hardy common cottongrass all year round. The flower blooms in the spring.
This wetland plant is easy to maintain. Just remove the dead leaves in the autumn. We maintain a planting depth of 15 cm. A location in full sun is best for common cottongrass.
It adds a special touch to our pond.
