Hydroponics for the fans!
Ready for a new plant trend? Hydroponics involves placing the roots of your plants in water, rather than in potting soil. This Clusia's roots are resting in beautiful Samoa glass with LED lighting! The best thing about hydroponics is that you get to enjoy the stylish combination of plants and glass, and you get to watch the roots grow from all sides. The Clusia has oval green leaves that are green at first, and lignify over time. It looks beautiful in the glass that makes the plant radiate with LED lighting.
This combination hardly requires any maintenance. Also ideal for those of us who don't have 'green fingers'! Put the Clusia in a nice light, but away from direct sunlight. Rinse the roots about once a month and change the water in the glass. If the water isn't dirty, you can even leave it longer. If the water becomes cloudy before then, the glass can be rinsed and cleaned. The Samoa glass allows the roots of the plant to grow down into the water. The roots are clearly visible, creating a beautiful effect. The plant decides for itself when it takes in water, making underwatering and overwatering things of the past.
Included is a set of 3 pieces of AAA batteries.
Extra tip: To prevent scaling in the vase, use spring water instead of tap water. Spring water is also full of minerals that help the plant to grow.
