Cyperus needs watering more often than most houseplants and enjoys standing in water. Any pot or dish that retains water run-off will suffice, just as long as you keep some water in there.

Care
Keep the potting compost moist and do not allow it to dry out. Add normal plant food to the water regularly (monthly). This is a happy plant that will grow well with its roots always in water – but then do halve the amount of feed as recommended on the pack.
