Fresher than fresh
All our plants arrive directly from the land to us in Lisse. As a result, your plants are always in top condition and fresher than fresh.
Skal certification
Bakker has been Skal certified since April 2021. This means that almost all our plants are organic and are therefore grown with as little fertilizer or chemical pesticides as possible. You can recognize these plants by the green European quality mark. Important to know: we also have plants from growers who sell organic plants but are not Skal certified. This is because these growers have not (yet) signed up for Skal, but that does not make the plants any less organic. Overall, our range consists of 300 organic plants; Bakker has the largest assortment in the Netherlands!

Sinds april 2021 is Bakker Skal gecertificeerd. Dit betekent dat bijna al onze planten biologisch zijn en dus gekweekt zijn met zo min mogelijk kunstmest of chemische bestrijdingsmiddelen. Deze planten zijn te herkennen aan het groene Europese keurmerk. Belangrijk om te weten: wij hebben ook planten van kwekers die wel biologische planten verkopen, maar niet Skal gecertificeerd zijn. Dit komt omdat deze kwekers zich (nog) niet voor Skal hebben aangemeld, maar dat maakt de planten niet minder biologisch. Al met al bestaat ons assortiment uit 300 biologische planten; Bakker heeft het grootste assortiment van Nederland!
No stress for our plants
We sell our plants in the budding stage of the growth process. This may look a little less nice at first, but it is more beneficial for the plant. During the trip to your home, the plant is better protected and will dry out less quickly. The plant also has less stress to endure during the journey. And an additional advantage: a budding plant blooms longer, so you can enjoy it longer!
Holland Selection
When you buy a flower bulb from Bakker, you are assured a 100% growth and flowering guarantee. The vast majority of our flower bulbs also have the Holland Selection quality mark. This quality mark is only awarded to products of the highest quality.
Every plant is unique
Plants are living green beings, so you always buy a unique specimen! It may be that your plant deviates from the picture on the site. But do not worry. Put your plant in the open ground and give it enough nutrition and care. Plants often come back to bloom by themselves with your attention. Without gardening experience, it sometimes seems like a bit of a hassle. However, we are always happy to help you.
MPS-GAP certification
Almost all our growers have MPS-GAP certification. This means that they meet the strict Dutch requirements for the environment, crop protection products, and a responsible production process.
