This deciduous shrub attracts attention at the end of summer with its decorative purple berries. Callicarpa Bodinieri is one of the few shrubs that will brighten up a dull winter garden.

Pruning Callicarpa is not really necessary, although it can be rejuvenated at the end of March by removing one third of the branches.
