Grow your own corn easily in your own vegetable garden! The sweet corn 'Golden Bantam' (Zea mays) is deliciously sweet. It tastes great in Mexican dishes or in a refreshing salad. The 'Golden Bantam' produces two ears of corn per plant. It is especially well-suited to early cultivation. The vegetable seeds are organically certified. Sow the vegetable seeds directly in the desired position from mid-May. Don’t harvest the ears too late to prevent the kernels becoming hard and mealy. You can harvest from August through September.
Space the corn seeds 40 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 80 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Give the vegetable seeds a spot in partial shade or full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The vegetable seeds come in a bag containing approximately 3 grams. This is enough to sow 4 square metres.
