Golden ornamentation
It looks just like gold! The colourful leaves of the sedge 'Evergold' (Carex oshimensis). Sedge is a low-growing, ornamental grass that keeps its leaves. The overhanging leaves decorate our garden. The ornamental grass can be planted all year round, provided temperatures don't go below freezing. The plant blooms with brown spikes in the spring.
The evergreen plant does not require pruning. Just cut away the dead leaves. Put the sedge somewhere in partial shade. Water the plant regularly. The plant thrives in slightly moist soil.
