It is also resistant to roots and has flat overlapping seams. It is best to place a fleece/felt mat under the pond liner to protect the liner. If there is a risk of roots growing through it, place a weed suppressant/ground cloth under the liner. To install the pond liner, you must first decide where you want the pond to be. Then you need to dig a hole. Even out the soil at the bottom on top of which you might lay the pond felt and pond liner.
Ubbink Aqualiner pond liner is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), is 3 x 2 m in size and 0.5 mm thick, but other sizes are also available. The pond film is chemically neutral, frost-resistant, doesn't contain any regenerated substances and has extra protection against UV rays, making it fish- and plant-friendly. Any pond shape is possible depending on the dimensions you choose. Ubbink recommends first laying a felt liner under the pond liner to avoid tears from sharp objects.
