A sea of roses
An explosion of flowers! The saucer magnolia has a lot of branches and grows to a considerable height, so it will add a great deal of volume to your garden. Its beautiful pink flowers are in bloom from April to May and it will produce flowers as early as its first year. Place the magnolia in a sheltered spot in the sun or partial shade. The plant is hardy and has been hardened off, so it withstands cold well.
Did you know...? The saucer magnolia is also known as the tulip magnolia. Its flowers look a little like tulips and they bloom in the same period.

Pruning
