Planting
What do I need?

Fill the hole up with potting soil and press firmly. Water immediately after planting.
Care
What do I need?
  •     Pruning shears/saw
  •     Cow manure pellets
  •     Watering can or garden hose

Maintenance

Scatter cow manure pellets around this shrub during the spring and summer. Moisten the pellets right away.

Pruning
Has the magnolia grown too large? Trim or saw off some of the lower branches if it has grown into a small tree. If still a shrub, just remove some of the outermost branches. Magnolias always have an easy time growing. As a small tree, the magnolia can grow up to five metres tall.
Extra
The magnolia is native to China. The Magnolia genus is named after the French botanist Pierre Magnol (1638-1715). This Magnolia soulangeana is also known as the saucer magnolia.
