Healthy smoothie from your own garden
A green smoothie right at hand. With these home-grown, organic vegetables in your vegetable garden you always have the ingredients for a healthy smoothie on hand! With fresh spinach 'Securo', kale 'Westlandse Winter' and endive. Sow the spinach seeds from March and April or August and September in rows on open ground. You can harvest from April through October. Plant the kale seeds from April through June Five or six weeks later you can plant the seedlings outdoors. You can harvest from August through October. Sow the endive seeds in a seedbed or in rows in June and July. After three to four weeks, plant or thin out the seedlings
Space the vegetable seeds 75 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 75 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Give the vegetable seeds a spot in partial shade or full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The vegetable seeds come in 3 bags containing approximately 15, 0.4 and 2 grams. This is enough to sow 73 square metres.
