Long, thin beans that are easy to harvest! That's the green bean 'Compass' (Phaseolus vulgaris). The beans grow to be 12–14 cm long. The vegetable seeds are organically certified. Sow the seeds from mid-April under glass. Or directly in the open ground from mid-May to July. You can harvest the mangetout from June through October.
Space the seeds 10 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 45 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. The beans like full or partial shade. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The seeds come in a bag containing approximately 20 grams. This is enough to sow 3 square metres.
