Fresh sweet cherries from our own soil

A new fresh and sweet cherry. The dwarf cherry tree ‘Musketeers Athos‘ in a nursery pot. The fruit tree grows compactly. In a pot, it won't grow to more than 1.5 metres tall. If you plant the ‘Musketeers Athos‘ in open soil, it can grow to up to 2.5 metres tall. The cherry tree is self-pollinating.The fruit tree blossoms in spring. That's when it reveals its lovely white flowers. A crop will be ready to harvest from summer onwards in the second year after planting. Pruning is not necessary. The cherry tree grows in moisture-retaining soil that we keep nice and moist. It's best to give the tree extra water during dry spells. Sufficient light is needed to ensure good growth, which is why we plant the fruit tree in full or half sun.
