An impressive cactus!
No cactus is as impressive as the columnar cactus (Pachycereus pringlei). In nature, this giant dominates the deserts of California and part of the Mexican coast. The Pachycereus can live to be extremely old. The oldest specimens found in nature are estimated to be 200!
It's not hard to look after the columnar cactus. In the summer, you can water it regularly. In the winter, however, it needs little to no water. In any event, always wait for the soil to dry out before watering again. Place the cactus in a nice spot in the sun.
A cactus that you may well pass on to your grandchildren!
