Vegetable garden on the balcony
A vegetable garden on your balcony? You can have one with this balcony vegetable package featuring organic vegetable seeds. The red pepper 'Piquillo', the cherry tomato 'Koralik' and the cucumber 'Picolino F1' are perfect for in a (hanging) planter or a vegetable container. Sow the pepper seeds from March in a seed tray when temperatures reach 20°C. You can harvest from August to September. Sow the tomato seeds in March and April in a seed tray when temperatures reach 20°C. You can harvest from May through June. Plant the cucumber seeds under glass or in a heated container from March through June. Plant them outdoors after four or five weeks. You can harvest from July to September.
Space the vegetable seeds 70 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 70 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Give the vegetable seeds a spot outside in partial shade or full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The seeds come in 3 bags containing approximately 0.25, 10 and 6 grams. This is enough to sow 6 square metres.
