Grand and impressive
A grand and impressive plant that will stand out in your garden! The calyxes of the gladiolus 'Pink Parrot' (Gladiolus) grow on either side of the stem, which itself grows quite high. The beautiful, ruffled flowers also attract bees.
Plant the gladiolus from March to May and enjoy its flowers in July and August. Place it in a sunny spot or in partial shade in your border. You can also use it as a cut flower.
Did you know...? In Roman times the gladiolus was seen as a symbol of strength, pride and victory.

Care
Feed regularly when the buds of your gladioli are visible. It is best to add some liquid fertiliser to the watering can when watering. Stop feeding, three weeks after flowering. The stems of the gladioli mix can get very heavy and sometimes require some support. Cut away overblown flower stems completely. Gladioli bulbs are best dug up and replanted in a new more fertile spot every year.
