Simple succulent
Less is more. This only applies to the Echeveria pulidonus This succulent has simple green leaves arranged around the centre of the plant. A sight to behold! The succulent needs very little care. Water the Echeveria every two weeks in the summer and once a month in the winter. Let the soil dry out completely before you water again. The plant likes light, but not the blazing midday sun.

Planting
What do I need?
The Echeveria is delivered in a standard nursery pot. Put the nursery pot in a nice decorative pot and water the plant immediately.
The Echeveria can also be planted in a larger flower pot so the plant has more room to grow. In that case, cover the bottom of the inner pot with a layer of hydro grains. Then add a layer of potting soil to the pot. Remove the nursery pot and plant the Echeveria to 1 to 2 centimetres below the edge so there is room for the irrigation water. Fill the pot with fresh potting soil and press it down slightly. Water immediately after planting and preferably place the plant in the sunshine. The more light, the more new leaves!

Care
What do I need?
Water the Echeveria (and not the plant itself) if the potting soil feels dry. Add a little plant food to the irrigation water in spring and in summer every now and then to give the plant some extra strength. The Echeveria loves being outside in the summer. Do put the plant inside before frost sets in as it isn't winter hardy. This plant loves warmth and sunshine. On the window sill or above the radiator will do just fine.
