Trollius thrives wonderfully in a sunny/partly shaded spot. Dig a wide hole and fork the soil well loose. The Globeflower should be planted at the correct depth with the top of the root ball just under soil level. Fill the hole with more soil and heel well in. Water your Trollius generously after planting. The soil should drain well, especially in the winter. If the soil is too heavy, add some sharp sand before planting. This helps water to drain off.
