Spotted flow
Easy-care, lovely and unique. That's the 'Flow' succulent. The leaves are thick, strong and marked with white dots. With a sharp point! They are arranged around the centre of the plant. An added bonus is the fact that the 'Flow' is a piece of cake to look after! Water the plant once a month. Place the plant in a bright spot, just out of the sun. This will keep the leaves looking healthy.

Planting
Planting
Stand your Gasteria somewhere warm and sunny - part shade is also tolerated.
The gasteria is an attractive houseplant for those difficult spots indoors, like full sun on the window-sill or above a radiator. Gasteria will thrive outdoors in the summer too, it just loves the sun! The more light it gets, the more it will grow new leaves!

Care
Care
Water your gasteria (Gasteria) regularly but the potting compost must be kept on the dry side. Feed now and again in spring and summer with some liquid fertiliser and only water when again when the soil feels dry to the touch.
Encourage flowering by standing the plant in a cooler spot over the winter and do not water. This is not strictly necessary, but can help.
Be careful if your gasteria (Basteria) is on the patio as it definitely will not tolerate frost - take it indoors again before it gets too cold!
