Narrow, elongated leaves with ornamentally wavy edges. The Calathea 'Wavestar' is a real eye-catcher! Especially in the evening. Then the plant goes to sleep and the leaves fold into an upright position. This makes a rustling sound. The next morning, it shows off its lovely leaves again.
This jungle plant needs high humidity. That is why we spray the leaves occasionally. This prevents the leaf edges from drying out. Place the plant in full or partial shade. Always keep the soil moist, without letting the plant stand in water.
