What a lovely sight! The Calathea orbifolia has large leaves with light and dark stripes. A beautiful contrast! The Calathea 'goes to sleep' at night in the seagrass basket. The leaves will then curl up together. The Calathea even purifies the air!
Put the plant in partial shade. This jungle plant requires high humidity levels, which is why its leaves should be sprayed occasionally. This prevents the leaf edges from drying out. Always keep the soil moist, without letting the plant stand in water. The Calathea comes with a seagrass basket.
