After ripening, the fruit's colour changes from green to a creamy orange. The 'Musquee de Provence' is deeply ribbed and has soft flesh. It is great to use for pumpkin soup. Plant the vegetable plants from late April to mid-June in the open ground in a seed bed. Then move them outdoors to fertile soil later. You can harvest in September.
