Want clear water? We do. The waterside plant mare's tail (Hippuris vulgaris) purifies our pond. Not only that, this aquatic plant has a playful appearance. They look just like miniature horse tails. The mare's tail has upright stems with small needle-shaped leaves. Plant the mare's-tail in the spring. The flower blossoms in the summer.
The mare's tail does well in shallow water. We maintain a planting depth of 40 cm. The aquatic plant loves sun and partial shade. We supply the plant with a pond basket.
A versatile aquatic plant!
