It is a must-have for your vegetable garden. The organic leaf lettuce 'Meikoningin' (Lactuca sativa) is nice and tender and it tastes scrumptious in a salad. The vegetable seeds are organically certified. Plant the vegetable seeds in a seedbed under glass in February and March, or sow them in rows on open ground from mid-March to late May. You still can sow 'Meikoningin' in September. You can harvest from June through August.
Space the lettuce seeds 30 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 30 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Give the vegetable seeds a spot in partial shade or full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The vegetable seeds come in a bag containing approximately 1 gram. This is enough to sow 30 square metres.
