The bamboo 'Rufa' (Fargesia) doesn't self-seed. An ornamental bamboo that is beautiful growing on its own. Or in a large pot on the balcony or patio. The plant is evergreen and keeps its leaves. We can plant this perennial all year round, provided temperatures don't go below freezing.
The bamboo does not require pruning, provided it doesn't get too long. Put the plant somewhere in the sun. Water the plant regularly. The bamboo thrives in slightly moist soil.
