Planting
Choose a pot with holes in the base to aid drainage. Cover the bottom with a layer of gravel or hydro pellets. Add the potting compost and plant the Calibrachoa 'Petticoat' at the correct depth and approximately 20 cm apart. Fill the pot with compost and press firmly down. Water immediately after planting.

Plants that get more sun produce more flowers, so give your plants a light, sunny position wherever possible. The supple stems of Calibrachoa 'Petticoat' make a great contender as good ground cover - blooming throughout the summer. Plant about 30 cm apart in beds and borders or create a colourful edge to your garden path. Calibrachoa in hanging basket Calibrachoa 'Petticoat' is very suitable for in hanging baskets. Using fresh potting compost plant at 10 cm intervals in the basket. Plant just Calibrachoa, or make beautiful combinations with other plants - the unusual colours mix very well. The stems will mingle with other plants and hang gracefully over the edge of the basket.
Care
For a second flowering all you need to do is remove the dead flower heads. For an extra abundant flowering we advise adding fertiliser regularly when watering. Water regularly and do not allow the compost to dry out. Calibrachoa is an annual plant that dies in winter.
Extra
You can clearly see that calibrachoa is strongly related to the petunia. Simple care, trailing growth and exuberant flowering make the calibrachoa a popular choice amongst patio plants.
