Plant Hardy Fuchsia 'Lady Thumb' in a large pot or planter with holes in the base and cover the bottom with a layer of gravel or hydro granules provide a good water drainage. Use fresh potting compost or special fuchsia compost. Sprinkle some compost into the pot and plant the root ball at the correct depth. Fill with the potting compost and press firmly. Give it plenty of water immediately after planting. This plant is best in a shady or semi-shady area.
