It grows vigorously and quickly. That's the Hoya 'Shirley' (carnosa). It has glossy, light-green speckled leaves. There's a place for this fantastic hanging plant in any home. Give it some love by keeping the soil slightly damp. But make sure that there's never standing water in the pot. Place it in a bright spot but away from direct sunlight. The 'Shirley' is supplied in a practical plastic hanging pot. You can simply detach the handles if you want to set the plant down on a cupboard or shelf.
Did you know...? Umbels of small, white nocturnal flowers may appear on your Hoya overnight in spring. As night these flowers exude a strong fragrance that is reminiscent of clean laundry.
