Colourful flowers. With a strong, pleasant scent. The sweet pea 'Old Spice' (Lathyrus) is a must-have for the flower garden. Or as decoration in an attractive flower pot on the balcony. And it is organically certified. Sow the flower seeds from early March under glass, or on open ground from April through June. The flowers bloom from July through September. The climbing plant grows to about 300 cm tall.
Space the sweet pea seeds 40 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 45 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. The Lathyrus blooms best in partial shade or full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The flower seeds come in a bag containing approximately 4 grams. This is enough to sow 2 square metres.
