The spider plant 'Vittatum' (Chlorophytum) is easy to take care of and purifies the air. Due to the distinct patterning on its leaves with a white outer edging, this plant is also known as Zebra grass. This plant grows lots of offshoots that form into new plants, making it a great hanging plant. You can also make cuttings from the offshoots.
