Bright orangey red flowers. The poppy (Papaver Oriental) looks brilliant in a flower garden. The flowers have deep notches and serrations. The leaves and the stems are coarse and hairy and feel like thistles. The decorative flower is easy to sown with its fine seeds. This makes it very suitable for allowing to spread naturally. Plant the flower seeds in a seed bed from mid-April to July. Move them outdoors in October and November. These flowers bloom May and June. The plant grows to about 90 cm tall.
Space the poppy seeds 35 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 35 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Poppies bloom best in full sun. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The flower seeds come in a bag containing approximately 0.15 grams. This is enough to sow 2 square metres.
