If there is a risk of roots growing through it, place a weed suppressant/ground cloth under the liner. To install the pond liner, you must first decide where you want the pond to be. Ubbink Aqualiner pond liner is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), is 3 x 2 m in size and 0.5 mm thick, but other sizes are also available.
