The autumn leek varieties taste great in sauces, wok dishes and soups. The vegetable seeds are organically certified. Plant the vegetable seeds in a seedbed on open ground from March to May. Plant the plants outdoors when the plants have the thickness of a pencil. You can harvest from October through January.
Space the leek seeds 15 cm apart. Space the rows at a distance of 25 cm. Plant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cm. Plant the vegetable seeds in a sunny spot. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The vegetable seeds come in a bag containing approximately 1.5 grams. This is enough to sow 15 square metres.
