Amongst all of your garden's greenery, the colours of the Japanese maple 'Orange Dream' really stand out! The leaves of the hardy shrub are different colours every season! The young leaves are orange/yellow in spring and light green in summer. From autumn onwards, the leaves turn a deep red colour. The upright-growing shrub can also be planted in a pot on the patio or balcony.  

Plant it in partial shade and in well-drained soil. This shrub does not need to be pruned. But if it starts getting a bit too big, it's best to prune it in late summer or early autumn. You can plant it all year round; it's important to water more often in dry periods.
