Love stripes? Then Alocasia zebrina is the perfect housemate. The stalks of this air-purifying plant are completely covered in a striped pattern. Look a little further up and you'll see the characteristic elephant's ear leaves. Complete the picture with the Lux planter 'Retro Ball' decorative pot (included) in gold.
This plant requires high humidity levels, so spray the leaves at least once per week to ensure that the tips of the leaves don't dry out. The plant grows towards the light. Turn the Alocasia occasionally so it continues to grow straight upwards. The Alocasia prefers moderate sunlight, so it should be placed in partial shade. During the summer, this plant can be set out on the patio or balcony as a container plant. Always keep the soil moist, without letting the plant stand in water.
A real eye-catcher!
