Planting
Coral Bells grows well in the garden or in a flower pot. Loosen the soil well and plant the root balls of the Heuchera mix at the right depth in the planting hole. The top of the root ball should be just below ground level. Fill the planting hole afterwards with soil and press firmly. Water immediately after planting. The Heuchera mix grows well in normal porous garden soil, in a spot in full sun or partial shade. Do you want to plant Heuchera in a flower pot? Then choose a flower pot or patio pot with holes in the base to provide adequate drainage.
Care
The Heuchera is a very easy garden plant to care for! Water the plant regularly so the soil around the roots doesn't dry out. It's best to regularly add plant food in the summer for a good growth. Leaves that have lost their appeal can be completely cut away. As soon as it turns a bit warmer outside, the alum root will begin to form new leaves and will continue to do so through the summer.
Extra
Have you discovered the wonderful Heuchera yet? We collected the most beautiful new garden forms of this trendy and decorative foliage plant. The colour of the leaves varies from wonderful green yellow to almost black. Very special! The leaves have a fascinating pattern of light and dark blotches. Ideal planted together in the border or in a flower bed as the different colours complement each other. Or you can create a colourful edging along the garden path. Also very beautiful in a flower pot or patio pot. Heuchera is winter hardy and keeps its ornamental leaves in the winter. In early summer small white flowers appear on long stems. However they don't stand out that much as the main attraction of the alum root is the attractive leaves with their decorative markings.
