The Pachira aquatica, or Guiana chestnut, has a fun length of 40 centimetres. The braided stem and five-fingered leaves create a light-hearted feeling. The plant is often given as a gift with money inserted into its braided stem. The Pachira is a super tough wetland plant. Give the plant (rain)water regularly to maintain soil moisture. The Pachira likes to get a lot of water at once, and then in small amounts each time. Put Pachira aquatica in a light spot, but not in direct sunlight. An ideal house warming or wedding gift!
