Home-grown oyster mushrooms
Nothing tastes better than your home-grown oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus)! The yellow oyster mushroom has a yellow flat fan-shaped cap. The gills underneath are clearly visible. The meat is white, fibrous and soft. The yellow oyster mushroom is also certified as organic! Make 5 slits of 2–3 cm in the plastic containing the substrate. Pour 0.25 litres of water into the substrate. Secure the plastic lid in place and leave the substrate in a spot that is 20–25 degrees. After two weeks, white caps will emerge. Then put the container in a bright spot that is 10–15 degrees, out of direct sunlight. Make sure that the substrate's surface doesn't dry out. making sure that the soil is moist but not too wet. Spray it with water every day. Otherwise, the mushrooms will dry out. This product comes as a complete growing set, including substrate.
