Hippeastrum Wonderful X-mas

Wax Amaryllis Wonderful X-mas white

Hippeastrum Wonderful X-mas
No Water Flowers® - in the Christmas theme
This unique Waxz Wonderful X-mas amaryllis bulb has a decorative wax coating in eye-catching Christmas colours! Make your home look super-festive with this beautiful flower bulb! The two flower stalks of this lovely amaryllis each produce three to four beautiful red flowers. Depending on how warm its spot is, the amaryllis will bloom for three to six weeks.
The bulb is supplied in an attractive plastic tube with a metal stand so the flower remains upright. Put the waxed amaryllis bulb in a bright, warm spot in your home. But don't place it in direct sunlight or a cold, shady spot. The amaryllis won't do well in these conditions. The amaryllis Waxz Wonderful X-mas does not require any water or soil.
This amaryllis is not only fun to give as a present, but is also nice to get!

How we measure

We measure the diameter of the bulb. A bigger bulb contains more food for longer flowering and a stronger plant.

The name Amaryllis actually came about due to a mistake by Swedish botanist Linnaeus. This was apparently because the buds of the flower resemble horse ears. In 1800, botanist Herbert discovered that the flower bulb did not belong to the Amaryllis species. That is why he came up with the new species name Hippeastrum, which is the name in Greek for “knight’s star”. However, the flower itself is still called Amaryllis.
